15 Natural Antibacterials and Antibiotics
Having these natural antibiotics on hand will ensure you have something to turn to when infections and diseases occur.
1. Garlic
Garlic is one of the best natural antibiotics out there. The active compound, allicin, gives garlic its potent antimicrobial action. Studies have found that garlic is effective against many Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria including resistant strains of E-coli. Eat your garlic raw as allicin gets destroyed by cooking.
2. Oil of Oregano
Oil of oregano is so effective it has been the focus of over 800 studies. Oil of oregano helps control multiple types of harmful pathogens, bacteria, fungi and yeast. Treat oil of oregano like a full-spectrum antibiotic, so be careful with use and always use a probiotic.
3. Colloidal Silver
