Pear Applesauce
Ingredients

4 large Apples (Fuji or Gala Apples work really well)
2 medium to large Pear (Red Bartlett Pears work nicely)
1/2 tsp. Cassia Cinnamon powder
1 thin slice of fresh Turmeric
1 shake of Black Pepper
Water (as needed)

Directions

Prechop your Apples & Pears (skin on) into pieces and place into a food processor along with your thin slice of Turmeric, Cinnamon and that small shake of Black Pepper. Blend and add about 2-5 tbsp. of water as needed to get the desired consistency. 

Optional Toppings

You could add a bit of Nutmeg or a Clove to change it up a bit. We recommend using really ripe Pears that are slightly soft for added sweetness.
